Flexibility Training

The proper posture that is required to execute a fundamental golf swing is dependent upon dynamic flexibility. Dynamic flexibility is moving the body into a stretched position. Flexibility development is essential in order to reach the required fundamental positions. The biggest deterrent that I have found for many golfers is a lack of range of motion. Freedom of motion is paramount for the proper execution of a full golf swing from backswing through follow through. Not only does flexibility allow for greater power and increased distance, it also serves to reduce friction and wear & tear on our shoulders, hips and spines.
